What a great movie!!
Loved everything about the movie... the story, the music, and the actors were great. For me, it was such "feel good" movie that I floated out of the theater on a psychedelic cloud.
I bought the cd and I will definitely buy the dvd.

Reliving the '60's or talking about today?
A new Yellow Submarine has arrived on the back of Sargent Pepper's band?
Only that the music isn't original makes me stop at 4 stars.
The original music was 5 stars. This plot is 4 stars for star crossed lovers. My friend Jon from Liverpool joined the Marines, so he could be a citizen: he lost his ear in Vietnam. I lost friends and lovers in that war,
but the music lives on.
We have a new generation caught / cut by a new war that is changing
our universe...

Does the Beatles Proud!
I absolutely am in love with this movie. I have seen it twice already and am counting down the days till I can officially call it mine.

The story of a young man coming to America and finding his father turns into a tragic love story that incorporates a few others as well.
Jim Sturgess, Evan Rachel Wood and Joe Anderson all shine as the three protagonists and with Dana Fuchs, T.V. Carpio, and Martin Luther McCoy as the supporting cast, the movie is very well done. It also has guest appearances including Bono, Eddie Izzard and Joe Cocker.

I know this movie makes Paul and Ringo proud, and I am sure that George and John are gleaming from the skies above at what a beautiful movie this turned out to be.
